Welcome to badoong.com a personal site which makes dreams come true. I'm a guy from Sweden named Jonas. I study to be an engineer in Systems, Control and Mechatronics at Chalmers university of technology in Gothenburg. Before I started my studies at Chalmers did I study a year at Gothenburgs School of Business, Economics and Law trying to be an economist, which didn't fit me at all... So here I am.

This page has been sleeping for way to long - 2008-08-09

Jesus. Where to start. Been having a great the last 6 months. Experienced my first wedding, that was my dads cousins one. It was awesome. He married a German bride so half of the guest where from Hanover in Germany. Had some time to practice my German, which I really need to do to try to keep it updated. Talked a lot about Germany's desperate need of engineers in the future. Heard from one guy (sorry for not remembering your name) that when he studied at the technical university in Germany in the 80ths they used to examine like 650 engineers every year. To day that number has drop to 150 engineers each year. This as the need for engineers is growing in Germany and will be even bigger in the future. This could be a lovely opportunity for me, liking Germany and all.

While talking about Germany. Yesterday did I received an e-mail from a person in Germany. It contained some information about two different couples and where in Germany they lived. I was kind of surprised receiving this information as I wasn't waiting any mail about couples in Germany. A bit odd.

Long time no see - 2008-01-28

New year, new times and new opportunities. I started the new year at the Volvo Spare Part warehouse outside Gothenburg, earning some very welcomed quids. Cause in the third week of the year did I board a bus which took me and 50 happy Chalmerists to France, more precisely Val d'Isere. For them who doesn't know is Val d'Isere a ski resort in the Alps. We had a great week. Weather was fine all days except one, which come with fresh powder making the slops smooth.

The day after Christmas - 2007-12-25

So what did the Santa bring to me this year. A digital camera from Canon, thanks mom and dad. From my brother did I get a modern wireless portable, NOT, banana telephone. I also got two pocket books from my lovely girl, a potato peelar and another kitchen tool which I don't know the name of, which is used to shred different type of vegetables.

It was also nice to meet some relatives, which some I don't use to see to often. My cousins Kristoffer and Markus with their parents Ingrid and Stefan come to Gothenburg to celebrate the ancient tradition Christmas which we used to celebrate to the Asa god Oden, the leader of gods in Nordic mythology before the church and Christ came and ruined everything. Wikings are cooler then Christians.

The day before Christmas - 2007-12-23

I'm back home at my parents place, watching a documentery about the six day war. It gives me a feeling of joy, cheerfullness and a great Christmas feeling. Patetic, watching old wars the day before Christmas, but I must say that I'm impress by the Isrealic tactics and strategies in the war. Destroying 286 of 340 Egyptian military air planes within three hours. Enough said about that. Now, let's talk about Christmas.

Talking about Christmas, maybe I should post me and Johannas Christmas card from the last year, as it was kind of funny. Translation from Swedish would be something like: "We hope you get a nice Christmas with your hamily and farty new year!"

I'm a nerd - 2007-12-16

The last days I've spent studing for two tests which will be the coming week. The first will be tomorrow and is about the fundamental structure in a computer like whats on the circuit cards and so on. The second will be about maths with focus on integrals and such things (I think I've mentioned Taylors Formula earlier). Kind of tuff things to learn but I suppose it will feel better when it's done and then I've earned some needed Christmas vaccation.

I've also been doing a script which searches for primes in a chosen number. Click here to check it out.

Such a party - 2007-12-09

Yesterday ended as a real pain in the ass. I started the day with some studing and realized quite quickly that I need to do more of this activity the comming days. I understood particulare nothing and I started to wonder where the knowledge from the last past weeks had gone. Givin up after a couple of hours to get ready to party with some red wine at Fatimas place the evening took a new turn and could be really nice.

We went downtown after a while and ended up at a place called Diamond Dogs where I had five girls as my company (I would never get in to that flashy place without them, thanks girls). Anyway, we had some beers and did the usual small talk. On our way home did we make the crusial mistake to stop at the local pub Johnny Foxes and having one last beer and shot before we went home to the great throw up party. I and Johanna sat side by side next to the toilet, taking turns to throw up, and Alexandra and Carl sat in the living room still small talking and amused by your barf party.

I apologize for my broken English, which you have to accept, as I do my best.

Evolution continues - 2007-12-07

I continued to develope my own ASP bloging script. It works great on my local machine, which got IIS installe and total controll over the file rights. But when I upload the scripts to my webhotel it starts to freak out. It's a bit of a shame as brings a lot of extra work for you, but what you gonna do?

In school there's nothing new. Continued to talk about the Taylor Formula and how to get a harsch function expressed into a polynominal one. Kind of interesting but there is funnier things to life then Taylors old Formula. This evening I'm going to watch the new movie Benders Big Score in which the screwed robot-humanoid Bender plays the key roll. Alexandra will come over to me and Johanna and we will gather some kebabs from the local pizzeria before the movie. It's gonna be great! And here's a picture of Bender.

One more thing to mention... Jakob and I just bought tickets to Marilyn Mansons show on Scandinavium. Not really to see him, cause he is just messed up, but to see the Norwegian band Turbonegro. If you want to listen to some songs from Turbonegro you better download Team SMODs videos at the Team SMOD homepage. Enjoy some dicks and Turbonegro music.

The first blog message - 2007-12-05

This is me, as a simpsonized person. Everyone can be simpsonized, just check this page out. But you have to be a bit patient as the page use to be overloadad and doesn't manage to keep up with all the requests from people. It took like half an hour to get my picture.

Other news... I'm having a mini-exam tomorrow, in mathematics. By the moment we're doing Taylors Formula and some other sheit. It's not that hard, but don't expect sky high rocket result from this test.
